Biography
Sharon Chang (Chang Ching Yen) was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan. She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and can read and write traditional Chinese. Sharon is married and has a young daughter. She moved to the United States in 2007; however, she remains close to her family in Taiwan.
Education
Sharon attended school in Taichung, Taiwan. She graduated from Providence University (English website here) in Taichung in 1998 with a major in English.
Work Experience
She then started working at the Providence University Chinese Language Education Center, where she taught Chinese as a second language for 8 years. Sharon is certified by Taiwan's Ministry of Education as a teacher of Chinese as a second language. Sharon currently teaches individual and group adult classes in the Denver metro area.

Biography
Mike was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado. Mike moved to Taiwan in 1999 where he taught English as a second language. He eventually became a manager for a small English school in Taichung, Taiwan. Mike met Sharon in 1999 as a student in a Chinese class she taught. The class ended and they started having coffee. They eventually married, had a child and move to Colorado in the Spring of 2007.
Education
He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a major in Psychology and German. He then earned a Master of Social Work degree from the Graduate School of Social Work at Denver University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides family therapy services through a small private practice. Click here to visit his website.
